Welcome to the Southwest Brachial Plexus Team (SWePT) webpage.
Our journey began with a commitment to provide specialized care for individuals inthe South West affected by brachial plexus conditions.
In the past patients with brachial plexus injuries had to travel long distances out of region for care. We are now estbalished to offer highly specialised care in the Southwest. Based in Bristol we will work with your regional hosptial and therapists as best as we can to aid your diagnosis and recovery.
Over the years, we have all developed a wealth of experience, assisting patients of all ages through their recovery.
We value our role in the community and prioritise clear communication with patient and their families. Each step of the way, we aim to support our patients in a partnership that fosters emphasises personal repsonsibility and the patients’ role in their own care.

SWePT work very closely with our expert plasic surgical colleagues that accept referrals for upper nerve injuries outside the brachial plexus (below the elbow) and lower limbs. SWePT work closely with these very talented surgeons with whom we often co-manage patients with complex injuries.
